Trial judge blasted over ‘horny’ quip
A JUDGE in Bermuda has faced criticism from the British Court of Appeal after telling a murder trial that talk of sex was making him “horny”.
Carlisle Greaves, who served as a junior Supreme Court judge in the British Overseas Territory, made the comment at the trial of Khyri Smith-Williams for the 2011 killing of Colford Ferguson, 29.
Witness Troy Harris told the court that he and Smith-Williams had former sexual partners in common, to which Greaves ( above) responded: “All this sex is beginning to get me horny”.
Smith-Williams was later convicted and sentenced to at least 35 years in prison.
The judge’s comments came to light after Smith-Williams’s defence lawyer took the case to the British Court of Appeal, asking for a retrial on the grounds that the judge behaved inappropriately.

In a new lawsuit, Montia accused Hart of “conspiring” with a friend – Jonathan “JT” Jackson – to film their romp to generate publicity.
Montia believes Hart gave Jackson permission to record them in Hart’s private suite – despite him being married to Eniko Parrish at the time.
The three-minute long video, which we can’t show for legal reasons but shows the model naked from the waist down, was posted online in September 2017.
Jackson was arrested and charged with extortion following the 2017 claims.
Montia claims Get Hard star Hart, who suffered back injuries in a car crash, was trying to drum up publicity ahead of a comedy tour.
