MILEY Cyrus has revealed she couldn’t carry on playing kids’ TV star Hannah Montana after she’d had SEX and was all grown up.

Hannah Montana premiered on the Disney Channel in 2006 when Miley was 12-years-old.

On the hit TV show, she played the main character – a young teenager called Miley Stewart who doubles as the pop star Hannah Montana.

The series instantly became a hit, winning numerous awards, was even nominated for four Primetime Emmys, and the show made Miley a household name.

Hannah Montana ran for four seasons and finally came to an end in 2011 when Miley was 19.

Weird

But she admitted in an interview that she wanted to leave the show when she became an adult.

Miley said: “Once I was 18, it felt ridiculous. The minute I had sex, I was kind of like, ‘I can’t put the f**king wig on again’. It got weird. It just felt like I was grown up.” Even when she was still on Hannah

Montana, many fans could see Miley was not the squeaky-clean teen star that everyone once thought.

Aged just 16, she had a naked photo shoot with Vanity Fair mag.

Then after leaving the kids’ show, Miley cut her hair short and began going in a more adult direction.

In 2013, she released two hit songs – We Can’t Stop and Wrecking Ball – which cemented her cutting ties with her “cute” Disney past.

Miley even made headlines for a very sexy twerk dance routine with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

She became famous for dancing with her tongue out and wearing revealing clothing on stage.
