Man who lives with life-size dolls took DEAD SHEEP to bed

-

A MAN who lives with nine fully-sized plastic dolls took a dead sheep and deer into his bedroom and “may have posed naked” with them, a court has heard.

Police uncovered a photo of Everard Cunion posing with a sheep carcass while raiding his home during an investigation into allegations of “harassment and stalking” made against him.

The 63-year-old rekindled an infatuation for a school friend 50 years later and began stalking her, despite not having seen her since they left school in 1972.

The photo was found on his computer alongside indecent images in September 2018.

Cunion told officers he had found the sheep on a farm before taking it back to his home and posing with it “years ago”.

Prosecuting, Sadie Rizzo said: “Mr Cunion had his PC seized in relation to an unrelated investigation.

“Police then examined his computer and he was arrested again in June last year.

“He went on to describe another incident which involved a deer.”

Seven cartoon-style obscene images were found on his computer, along with 20 extreme porn images. They had been downloaded between February 2017 and September 2018.

IN COURT: Everard Cunion said Cunion had not offered any explanation for his actions to the Probation Service, but he said officers from the service believe the defendant does not pose a serious risk to the public.

He said: “He was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year.

“He has been through chemotherapy.

“He tells me that has reduced his interest in sex.

“He is in fear of the prison environment.”

Cunion admitted making indecent images and possessing prohibited images and extreme porn.

Sentencing him at Bournemouth Crown Court, Judge Oba Nsugbe QC told Cunion there was an “element of depravity” to his offending. Whether you kept it to yourself or not, it’s illegal.”

Cunion, of Christchurch, Dorset, was handed a 12-month community order, rehabilitation activity requirement days and a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
