THE top ten ways that cheats are caught out by their partners have been revealed in a new survey.

Women are most likely to get caught out by their partner checking who they have been calling on their mobile.

Male cheats are also most likely to get snared by their phones – but it is sexy text messages or pictures which catch them out.

The results are from a survey of 2,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people.

It found that twice as many women as men are prepared to do their own detective work to uncover an affair.

“Most are caught out by picking blindingly obvious four digit passcodes which their partners guess.

“The good news for cheats is that phones 1 Sending sexy texts or pics to their lover 2 Partner smells perfume on clothes 3 Partner checks emails 4 Cheating alibi exposed by a partner 5 Suspicious spending exposed 6 Their lover tells their partner about the affair 7 Caught out secretly seeing their lover 8 Phone calls to a lover found by partner 9 Friend/acquaintance telling on them 10 They confess are getting increasingly sophisticated security settings, with many using fingerprint and even photo recognition which will make it virtually impossible for suspicious partners to access cheats’ phones.”
