SICK-MINDED hard-left trolls danced online jigs of glee at news that Boris Johnson had been taken to hospital and moved to intensive care.

Some warped keyboard warriors even wished DEATH on the Prime Minister as he fought for his life in hospital.

Mr Johnson was admitted to St Thomas’ Hospital in central London with “persistent symptoms” of COVID-19 on Sunday and was quickly moved to intensive care on Monday evening after his symptoms worsened.

It was announced that the PM’s number two, Dominic Raab, was taking the reins while Boris regained his health.

But the crisis at the heart of Government was catnip to lefties – still smarting that their ultra-left hero, Jeremy Corbyn – had been trounced by the Tories at last year’s election.

One Twitter troll – whose timeline oozes anti-white race hate – crawled from under his rock to jeer: “I hope Boris Johnson dies.”

While another said: “I hope Boris Johnson doesn’t die – it’s f**king impossible to organise a street party just now.”

He said the Prime Minister, 55, was stable overnight and is being given oxygen – and was not on a ventilator.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove became the latest politician to self-isolate after a family member showed symptoms.

Mr Gove said he did not have symptoms and will continue working at home.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme earlier, Mr Gove pledged that if there is any change in his condition “No.10 will ensure the country is updated”. Meanwhile, leaders from all around the world – including Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Yank President Donald Trump have sent messages to Mr Johnson wishing him

well.
