TWO sex tutors whose former students include actress Gwyneth Paltrow have put their sell-out FINGERING classes online during lockdown – and say it’s a perfect time to work on your ORGASMS.

Betty Dodson, 90, an author often dubbed the “godmother of masturbation”, runs the New York-based Bodysex course, which focuses on “overcoming negative body image and pleasure anxiety”.

Before the pandemic, the £800 weekend course was fully booked until 2021, with a waiting list of thousands.

But she and colleague Carlin Ross, 47, have sidestepped social distancing restrictions by moving their sexy workshops online.

Betty said: “Pleasure is healing. With modern life people go on retreats to slow down their brain. They say meditate but I say masturbate – which is a form of meditation.”

Guided by Betty, Carlin has taught 30 women, aged 27-74 and based all over the world, via video call since lockdown.

Just like the normal in-person classes, participants remove their clothes, and Carlin said the virtual element makes it feel “more intimate” and gives clients a greater sense of independence.

Carlin said: “I’m not a doctor or an essential worker but I felt I had to do something for women during lockdown.”

She explained that for many females, the course is an opportunity to do something for themselves, adding: “They don’t have the orgasms and pleasure they want. That’s what it’s about.”
