ATOMIC BLONDE MOVIE MOGUL ARRESTED OVER RAPE SPREE

-

A FILM producer has been charged with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault and kidnap of four women.

David Guillod, an executive producer on the Charlize Theron spy drama Atomic Blonde and mercenary thriller Extraction, is the latest Hollywood mogul to be swept up in the # MeToo movement, which led to Harvey Weinstein’s 23-year jail sentence for rape and sexual assault in March this year.

Guillod surrendered to cops in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, accompanied by his lawyer, after a three-year investigation led to him being charged.

He faces 11 charges for the incidents which span back to 2012, and a maximum sentence of 21 years to life in prison.

Guillod, 53, denies all the charges

“Mr Guillod has been vilified for eight years without being afforded the opportunity to examine under oath his accusers,” said lawyer Philip Cohen.

After she went to sleep inside, it is alleged her brother followed her in and sexually assaulted her by putting his penis inside her mouth.

When she woke up to discover the alleged sexual assault her brother walked outside and began to cut her lawn.

She called emergency services and when police officers arrived they found the alleged attacker still mowing the lawn.

An investigation has been launched.

Guillod has been publicly accused of sexual assault by Ted actress Jessica Barth, who said the producer had drugged her during a 2012 meeting, and reported the allegations the same year.

Barth was also among many women in the movie industry who were subjected to inappropriate and – in a number of cases – criminal behaviour by convicted rapist and disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, who is currently serving a 23-year sentence.

Barth went public with her allegation in 2017, in the wake of the # MeToo movement.

Guillod stepped down as chief exec of Primal Wave Entertainment soon after.
