YOU ABSOLUTE DRIP!

Fans slate actress Florence as she apologises for wearing braided hair & henna tattoos

POOR Florence Pugh…

The actress posted a lengthy statement to her Instagram account on Friday, letting her 1.5m followers know that she is “ashamed” to look back at some of her past actions of so-called “cultural appropriation”, which include getting henna tattoos and getting her hair braided into “cornrows”.

But her grovelling to the gods of political correctness won little favour with her fans.

Florence, 24, blathered that her past violations against “woke” culture were first brought to her attention by a fan calling her out for a photo she posted of herself when she was 17. She called the picture an example of “Rastafarian cultural appropriation.”

She wailed: “I braided my hair and painted a beanie with the Jamaican flag colours and went to a friend’s house, proud of my Rastafarian creation.

Hindsight

“I then posted about it next day with a caption that paraphrased the lyrics to Shaggy’s song

Boombastic.

“I am ashamed of so many things in those few sentences.”

In hindsight, Florence called her decisions “uneducated” and also provided an example of her childhood when she befriended an Indian woman who owned a shop in her native Oxford, filled with fabrics, jewellery, henna and more.

She credited this woman with teaching her all about the culture, of which she became “obsessed”.

Florence wrote: “There wasn’t a summer where I didn’t henna my hands, feet, my family’s hands and feet.”

She added: “I cannot dismiss the actions I bought into years ago, but I believe that we who were blind to such things must acknowledge them and recognise them as our faults, our ignorance and our white privilege and I apologise profusely that it took this long.”

But Flo’s mea culpa did not win much praise among ordinary Brits.

One, Sue Forbes, of Broadstairs, Kent, stormed: “You absolute drip.”

Another commented: “Such an easily brainwashed dimwit! Every culture has braided their hair. You can, too, Florence.”

And yet another netizen raged: “There was absolutely no need for this. This is nothing but publicly trying to abase oneself in virtue signal, hoping to be praised. Silly girl...”

But never mind that shit – here’s the Black Widow babe’s tits…
