Guard to stand over suicide-risk Ghislaine while she sits on loo
A BURLY female prison guard will stand over Ghislaine Maxwell while she has a SHIT, jail sources have confirmed.
Accused Jeffrey Epstein ‘pimp’ Maxwell was quietly transferred on Monday from New Hampshire to a federal prison in New York where she’ll await trial pending a bail hearing.
And prison bosses – terrified she’ll commit suicide like her late lover Epstein – have that decreed she’ll be watched 24 hours a day, even when she curls one off.
Maxwell, who was arrested in a swanky rural mansion last week, was moved by cops to the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
The former socialite and daughter of the late British media crook Robert Maxwell faces charges on four counts of sex trafficking minors and two counts of perjury for allegedly acting as Epstein’s fixer as he sexually abused underage girls. Epstein was arrested for sex-trafficking by the same US Attorney’s Office last year — but topped himself in his lower Manhattan jail cell before he could face trial. A law-enforcement source said that prison officials at the MDC in Brooklyn are determined to avoid a similar outcome with Maxwell. The source shuddered: “Everyone knows that Ghislaine Maxwell is a suicide risk and is also a person who various personages would like to silence – for good. We cannot take any chances and if that means a guard standing over her while she takes a dump, so be it.”
Her first court appearance could be on Thursday, according to reportss in New York.
Hearing
She’ll remain locked up at the MDC until the hearing, when a judge will determine if she’ll stay behind bars until her trial or be granted bail.
She’s accused of enticing three underage girls to meet Epstein at his various properties in New York, New Mexico and in London.
Maxwell is also charged with two counts of perjury for allegedly lying during a formal deposition, but prosecutors have kept open the door for her to cut a plea deal and cooperate against other unidentified accomplices.
Epstein allegedly sexually abused all three of the girls, including one who was abused by both Maxwell and the millionaire financier at the same time, according to the indictment.
Earlier this week a former friend of Maxwell said it was probable she had videos and documents that could implicate a number of high profile former pals of Epstein.
The pal said: “If Ghislaine goes down, she’s going to take the whole damn lot of them with her. Some of them are probably shitting themselves.”
One of Maxwell’s closest friends is Prince Andrew, who strongly denies all allegations of noncery.
