LESBIAN SEX WAS A JOYFUL EXPERIENCE

KATE Winslet says that filming a raunchy lesbian sex scene with co-star Saoirse Ronan for her new film Ammonite was a “joyful experience”.
The Titanic star admitted making the minge-grinding was “very different” to any heterosexual scenes she had filmed in the past.
In Ammonite, Kate plays Mary Anning, a top British palaeontologist who has an affair with married woman Charlotte Murchison, played by Saoirse.
She said: “It did feel very different. I’ve played LGBTQ characters before. In fact, I played an LGBTQ character in the first film I ever did, Heavenly Creatures.
“I was very young, I had only just turned 17 actually, and also I had very little experience of actual intimacy in my own life, so I didn’t really know what I was doing, other than just playing the character.”

Now, having performed any number of heterosexual scenes on film, the 45-year-old learned that filming with another woman is different as they’re both speaking the
“same physical language”.
Kate added that the scene was shot on Saoirse Ronan’s 25th birthday.
She went on: “It just made sense. Women know what women want, let’s not beat about the bush.
“Saoirse and I knew we could unite in our feelings about these characters and where they’re at, and to tell that story physically. It was a very joyful experience.”
One fan said: “It was joyful for me, watching it – right up until the moment I realised I’d rubbed most of the skin off my shaft!”
Both actresses have been put forward for nominations Oscars for their roles in the film, with the ceremony due to take place in April.
