Kim Cattrall banned from show’s new comeback...
BLONDE babe Kim Cattrall was ditched from the new series of Sex and the City because the other actresses are jealous of her boobs, insiders say.
The dreary drama about a group of women who spend endless hours banging on about their problems is set to return to HBO for the first time in 17 years.
The new series will see Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon back in New York as 30-somethings.
Devastated
But controversially Kim, who played the popular character Samantha in the show, has been dumped from the revival.
And insiders claim she has been ditched in a row over who has the best boobs.
A Hollywood source said: “The news that the show is back has gone down a storm with miserable women in their 40s who used it as some kind of guide to life.
“But they will be devastated that Samantha won’t be back.
“She was everyone’s favourite character. But as far as I understand it, there was a row when Kim got her boobs out on the show and Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t.
“There was a big row about who was flashing the flesh and why some people were shirking in that respect.
“They haven’t been friends since and that is why Kim has been banned from the reboot.”
The US network did not say why Kim wasn’t cast in the revival, titled And Just Like That – a nod to one of the show’s original catchphrases.
However, Kim has had a strained relationship with the show in recent years amid feud rumours, in particular with former co-star SJP.
