SICK KILLER DEEP-FRIED VICTIM’S FEET
COPS responding to reports of a burglary were left retching as they uncovered body parts including deep-fried FEET!
The horrifying drama started when officers were called to the home of 70-yearold massage therapist Peter Gerold.
Police followed a U-Haul selfdrive truck they saw driving away from Mr Gerold’s home and pulled the vehicle over a short distance away.
The driver got out of the truck and said, “I don’t want anything to do with this, and there’s a body in the back”.
A bloody torso was found in the back of the truck and other body parts found in rubbish bags in a skip behind a nearby shopping mall.

Among the body parts were the victim’s hands and feet, which appeared to have been deep-fried.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Jasmine Reilly said the body parts are consistent with an adult male and it’s thought they belong to Peter Gerold.
The driver of the truck was later released.
But the passenger, registered sex offender Taray Herring, 47, was nicked and charged with burglary and abuse of a corpse.
He has also been charged with theft, criminal trespass and tampering with evidence but has not yet been charged over the death of Mr Gerold, who lived in the Somerton area of Philadelphia.
Other body parts are believed to have been found in a detached garage at Mr Gerold’s home, along with evidence that someone had attempted to burn a body.
Police said they also found a weapon in the back of the U-Haul truck.
One neighbour said: “He helped out a lot of people, so you know it was somebody that he probably helped out that came back and did this to him.”
