WHERE TO BARE IN BRITAIN THIS SUMMER

- By GRACE HOOPER news@sundaysport.co.uk

IT may be a bit chilly just now but a new survey has revealed Britain’s best NUDIST BEACHES!

With foreign trips off limits for the foreseeable, thousands of bare-arse bathers will be in the buff in Blighty this summer.

Travel experts from My Baggage have explored 11,000 miles of British coastline to reveal five of the most popular spots among people prepared to bare all and brave the Great British weather.

Naturists are a large community of people across the globe who advocate a non-sexual social nudity lifestyle.

It is perfectly legal to be naked in public across England, Scotland and Wales. However, it does become an offence if it can be proved the person stripped off intended to upset, shock, cause fear or alarm.

Technically, this means that people can sunbathe in the nude on any beach. But the experience is much more likely to be a relaxed and comfortable one on designated beaches that are non-judgmental about bare bottoms.

Due to our chilly climate, most beaches on this list of places to strip off are down South. This is so naturists can avoid getting too cold while working on pesky tan lines.

But one official naturist beach in the very north of Scotland has made the list for those brave enough to remove their sporrans in nippy temperatures.

A spokesperson at My Baggage said: “Trips to a nudist beach and skinny dipping in the sea won’t be for everyone. But for Britain’s dedicated community of naturists, these beaches are a relaxing haven to wear nothing but your birthday suit.

“Most of the clothing-optional beaches across the UK are off the beaten path, laid back and less crowded than regular beaches.

“But being nude does not mean being lewd, so it is important to respect everyone else on the beach!

“Because these beaches are off the beaten track, many often don’t have amenities like toilets or shops.

“So people thinking of giving a nudist beach a try should pack water, sun cream and snacks.”
