Teacher caged for 18 months

- By SUZIE SHELDON news@sundaysport.co.uk

YOU might not have heard, but a new TV station started on Sunday evening.

It’s called GB News and is headed up by former BBC political interrogator Andrew Neil.

In a bid to try to be different from the others, it’s promising to represent the views of ordinary people up and down the country instead of just concentrating on London’s Westminster and Washington, D.C.

They kicked off nervously, spending an hour introducing their presenting line-up while mics failed and mouths moved silently before their voices followed a split second later.

The set seemed too dark and the younger presenters were clearly cacking themselves.

And despite each of them being asked the same thing, no one other than Neil (below right) seemed to know what they were going to do other than be “different”.

But that said, GB News is already a resounding success.

Because it has firmly pushed on the hysteria buttons of all the right people.

The organisation Stop Funding Hate – a strange title, given that it seems to hate everyone – has immediately called on people not to buy products from companies that advertise on the channel.

So that’ll be me doubling up on Deliveroo orders, just for starters.

And the Guardian has... oh, do I really have to explain?

It’s hardly a surprise that they detested the outlet from the moment it was conceived and before one single second of output had been broadcast.

Their chief whinger Owen Jones, possibly miffed that he wasn’t invited like he is on seemingly every other “impartial” BBC news discussion, witheringly dismissed it as “budget”.

The Independent, which is apparently still read by students on t’internet, obviously hated it. And on Monday, one commentator on the journalism trade magazine Press Gazette – a full 12 hours after GB News had launched – called for it to be banned “immediately”.

This was because one of its other new presenters not- very- c o nvincingly launched into an antilockdown rant.

Despite the likes of the Guardian constantly breathing hot hemp tea breath down the collar of the government 24 hours a day, they suddenly had a dilemma.

How can they still slag off Boris Johnson and Co AND slag off people who are against his extended lockdown?

If that isn’t the hellish scream of the left-wing ultras, gibberish with their own madness, then I don’t know what it is.

Job done, GB News.

Showers the rest, Pauline!

A LESBIAN school miss lay a female pupil back on a classroom desk, spread her long, coltish legs and licked her out.

Now Christine Dennard is starting an 18-month prison term after she admitted one count of unlawful sex with a minor.

As part of a plea agreement, Dennard pleaded guilty to one count and four others were dropped.

She was ordered to serve five years’ probation following her prison sentence and she agreed to never teach again.

Dennard, 34, is a former chorus director at First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

She was arrested in late 2019 after an investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office into unlawful sexual activity.

Flirting

The victim, who was 16 at the time, told cops the pair had an “intimate relationship” from April 2018 to October 2018.

Investigators were able to corroborate the student’s statements.

The student said she had sex with Dennard both on and off the campus of First Coast High School.

The classroom minge licking was the first time the pair had been physical but there had been “flirting” in the weeks before that.

School principal

Justin Fluent said everyone was deeply disappointed about the accusations.

A statement from Dr Diana Greene, the head of the local school district, said: “We have nearly 7,000 teachers in this district that go above and beyond the call of duty to help students achieve.

“It is deeply disappointing when any individual’s actions cast a shadow over the outstanding work of so many.”

Dennard is not the first teacher at First Coast High School to be accused of sexual misconduct.

Jeremy Clark was arrested by the FBI in 2018 for possessing and exchanging child porn and admitting to molesting a student.

He is now serving seven years in federal prison.
