AXE TRIO CHOPPED UP THEIR PAL
THREE people have been charged with first-degree murder and more than 80 other charges over the slaying and dismemberment of an old schoolmate.
Dylan Whetzel’s remains were found in rubbish bags in woods in western Spotsylvania, Virginia, on February 1.
The 20-year-old had been shot in the head and killed prior to being dismembered with an axe.
Bronwyn Meeks, 22, and Domonic Samuels, 19, of Spotsylvania, and Brennan Thomas, 19, of Woodbridge, face charges that include first-degree murder, murder by mob, strangulation, abduction, concealing a dead body, three counts of using a firearm in the commission of a crime, 12 counts of shooting during the commission of a crime and multiple counts of conspiracy.

Each suspect is charged with at least 27 offences.
Meeks additionally faces four counts of soliciting others to act as accessories after the fact of murder and two counts of threatening witnesses in writing.
In a 911 call played at a preliminary hearing, Thomas’s grandfather said Thomas told him he had shot someone after the victim came at him.
The grandfather went into the woods and saw the bags.
In his phone call, he mentioned a bloody axe and said: “What the f**k did [Thomas] do?”
In a text message between Meeks and Samuels, who were dating at the time, Meeks wrote: “We are [expletive] because it was done so [expletive] wrong.”
A video was also shown of Samuels and Thomas purchasing an axe from the Southpoint Walmart.
