LOVE ISLAND IS NOT RUDE ENOUGH!

Telly stars blast ITV show

‘It’s too middle class and prim’

LOVE Island is like kids’ TV and needs more SEX!

That’s according to two Geordie Shore veterans who have blasted the ITV2 show, saying the new era of “prim and proper” Islanders make the show too tame.

Holly Hagan and Marnie Simpson, both 29, likened the dating series to watching Cbeebies and say contestants are ‘too middle class’ and don’t intend to find love in the villa.

Holly slammed the stars of this year’s show for “knowing what they can get” in brand deals.

And Marnie wants the producers to bring in a lower age limit of 25 to determine who is genuinely looking for a long-term partner.

Crazy

Holly, who stars in MTV’s Geordie OGs, said: “When you go from watching Too Hot to Handle on Netflix to Love Island, it’s like you’re watching Cbeebies, it’s crazy.

“Love Island is too middle class and prim and proper and a lot of people go on there knowing what they can get after it.

“No 21-year-old wants to fall in love, they want a PrettyLittleThing deal.

“They need to put in people who actually want to fall in love, adults that are comfortable and confident in themselves, rather than putting kids on TV.”

Marnie added: “I feel like Love Island is slacking a bit this year.

“I hate to say it, but it’s letting me down at the minute and I’m hoping it picks up.

“I honestly think the age limit for Love Island should be 25 plus, it shouldn’t be under 25 because I feel like I’m watching a bunch of kids.

“When that Brad talks he just can’t get to the point, it’s like what’s he talking about?”
