FORGET THE PANDEMIC... BEWARE THE SIN-DEMIC!

- By GRACE HOOPER news@sundaysport.co.uk BEWARE of the Sindemic...

A surge in affairs has happened since Freedom Day, as the end of lockdown brings sexual liberation to love cheats.

Extra-marital dating sites have reported a 32% rise in activity since the lockdown ended and there are no restrictions on casual sex.

A poll of 2,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading affairs site, found that 54% of men and 48% of women had slept with someone new since Freedom Day was announced.

And 92% of men and 89% of women said they were more likely to cheat now that there are no bars on hook-ups.

Frustrated

Just over half of men (52%) and a similar number of women (49%) said they were more likely to be attracted to a partner if they have been double jabbed.

A staggering 87% of men and 82% of women had cheated less during the restrictions as they tried to stick to the rules.

That left 84% of men and 74% of women feeling sexually frustrated during lockdown and longing for new opportunities to cheat.

The majority of men (56%) and 47% of women had broken lockdown rules to have sex when the restrictions were in place, while the end of restrictions was an ‘aphrodisiac’ for 72% of men and 67% of women.

And cheaters are more likely to have sex with a new partner more quickly because of how the pandemic had changed mindsets and encouraged people to ‘live for the moment’.

The number one reason given for cheating was that ‘life was too short’, followed by bad sex, bored with partner, need a change and viewing life differently since the pandemic.

IllicitEncounters has seen subscriptions shoot up by 27% since the vaccination programme kicked in and the site’s sex and relationship expert Jessica Leoni explained: “Get two jabs, let’s have an affair.

“That has been our experience over the last few months as members have realised that COVID has become like flu for the double vaccinated.

“All the fear factor has gone and people are embracing the summer of love with gusto while asking partners to prove they’ve had both vaccines.

“We’ve heard a lot about the Pingdemic, but what about the Sindemic, the explosion of cheating since it has become safe to enjoy casual sex once again.

“Lots of new people are embarking on affairs with a new ‘life is too short’ attitude and we are attracting lots of new members who have decided after more than a year of being stuck at home with their boring partner that they want to kick start their lives.”
