IT’S FESTIVAL TIME!

-

World famous DJ, Chris Moyles, is set to head to Campervan Campout at Ardingly in Sussex on Saturday 4 May as part of his 90s Hangover live tour. His appearance will headline year two of the Campervan Campout festival, which also sees 15 other live bands perform, such as The Killerz, Hot Red Chillis and Onside Brit Pop. Open to both campers and day ticketholders, the event will host a main stage with live music, a Wellness Sanctuary sponsored by the Caravan and Motorhome Club, a shopping village, family zone sponsored by the Camping & Caravanning Club, and an artisan food and drink hall. Then there’s the Campout Hub – the place to go to listen to a selection of bloggers, vloggers and podcasters sharing their experiences and inspiration for travel – this magazine’s Editor, Peter Vaughan, will be speaking on the Friday, giving advice on choosing a campervan. In addition, you will also find foraging workshops, a self-build show (where owners exhibit homebuilt conversions), and a silent disco as part of your entry fee. Day tickets cost £10 on Friday, £20 on Saturday and £15 on Sunday and give access to all areas of the site until 11pm; meanwhile, those after the full festival vibe can book a three-night camping pitch for £150 (open to motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents). Under 16s go free and the site is dog friendly. For booking and more details about each area of the festival, head to campervancampout.co.uk to find out more.
