BALA MODEL SHOW

The Bala Lake Railway is to hold its second ‘Bala Model Railway Show’ on May 27/28. The show will follow the formula of 2016’s weekend as the railway takes over the town’s secondary school with 15 layouts in ‘N’, ‘OO’ and ‘O’, including an ‘N’ gauge take on nearby Llangollen station that is to visit from Ireland. The BLR will run an intensive timetable, featuring as many of its ex-dinorwic, Penrhyn and Pen-yr-orsedd quarry locomotives as possible, including newly restored Hunslet 0‑4‑0ST George B.
