The track plan could easily be adapted for something more advanced if you extend the baseboard’s width to 5ft. The extra width and use of scale track systems, with closer spacing between sidings, will allow for a greater number of tracks per foot, particularly those inside the shed. Baseboard length could be adjusted to suit personal circumstances and buildings scratchbuilt, for a truly accurate representation. If you’d prefer to have even more tracks in the shed yard, then consider going down to ‘N’ gauge so you’ll effectively double the space shown on plan, not to mention increase capacity by effectively doubling length, too.
