OX­FORD LAUNCHES NEW RESIN RANGE

Ox­ford Rail’s range of ‘OO’ gauge lo­co­mo­tive and rolling stock has been joined by a com­ple­men­tary brand ‑ Ox­ford Struc­tures. As the name sug­gests, Ox­ford Struc­tures will of­fer resin ‘OO’ gauge build­ings, and it made its de­but with 14 new mod­els ‑ and prom­ises of more to fol­low. ‘At the Sta­tion’ com­prises a sta­tion build­ing, sig­nal box, goods shed, lo­co­mo­tive shed and wa­ter tower, in GWR style. They’re joined by straight plat­form, plat­form ramp and is­land plat­form sec­tions (of­fered in twin‑packs). ‘Town & Coun­try’ fea­tures non‑rail­way build­ings. The first batch con­tains a church, inn, cot­tage, bun­ga­low and two shops (a newsagent and a butcher). Prices have yet to be con­firmed.
