ROAD WORKS

The road was downloaded from www.scalescenes.com and printed using a home computer. Nick weathered the road surface, although only a light coating was needed as the downloadable texture comes already weathered. Nick used a simple method to hide any joins: “The road surfaces are slightly different widths, so I disguised joins by using a differentcoloured strip to represent freshly laid asphalt.”
