New addition to ‘Pillbox’ family

Dapol is planning to produce a second version of its ‘O’ gauge Southern Railway ‘Pillbox’ brake van. The model was first introduced in 2014, and now the Chirk-based company plans to make the post-1940 version with ‘uneven’ planking (two thin planks and two thick planks). Three versions are planned: Nos. 56365 and S56371 in SR brown with red ends (7F-100-100/ 7F-100-101) and No. 56352 in BR grey (7F-100-102). The models are due early/mid-2018.
