MODELLER CV: PHILL HUTCHINGS

“I became interested in railways when my family moved to a house next to the WR Birmingham line, in 1953. Building kits was my introduction to railway modelling, first in ‘OO’ then ‘TT’. I’ve always enjoyed modelling something different – it requires a lot of research and scratchbuilding. I joined the 3mm Society in the 1970s and the range of products it offers has helped me to build layouts such as this.“
