These weathering powders work best when applied to a matt surface. Application is most effective with dry, soft brushes and they’re perfect for creating dusty effects. Clear liquid fixative solutions are available to aid adhesion prior to application, or to seal a weathered finish. Fixatives can also be employed to remove weathering powders completely.
