TEXTURED PAINTS

Textured, acrylic-based paints require a thorough stir before use and the addition of compatible thinners allows them to be applied to a broad range of subjects. They can also be mixed with regular acrylic paints to create more specific shades. Often available in a variety of ‘grit’ levels, textured paints are handy for creating thick deposits on anything from aggregate or cement wagons to steam locomotive underframes.
