ALBION ALLOYS SANDING NEEDLES

This pack of six sanding needles contains pairs of needles of 150, 240 and 320 grit. They’re designed for use on plastic and are especially useful for smoothing curved surfaces. The pointed ends can be used for cleaning out holes in parts.

MR HOBBY VARNISHES… AND MORE

Japanese manufacturer Mr Hobby is one of the most well-regarded manufacturers of paints and finishing products. The range is becoming increasingly available in the UK and is a welcome addition. Base White (SF283) is a primer that can also fill small blemishes, while Matt Topcoat (B503) is a superb varnish. Super Clear Matt (B514) is a varnish suitable for anything from doll’s house miniatures to plastic kits.

MODEL SCENE EARLY SUMMER BUSHES

Czech scenic manufacturer Model Scene produces this nicely made piece of foliage. It measures 13cm by 8cm by 5cm but can be cut into smaller pieces. The foliage is delicate and the texture is well applied to the natural base material. It’s designed for use in ‘OO’ but will suit other scales too.
