Manor’s new recruit Rio Haryanto said he needs to learn quickly after the Indonesian suffered his first crash in an F1 car on the final day of the first test. He spun into the tyre wall at Turn 4, damaging the rear wing, and ended the team’s test prematurely. “I am here pushing to get the maximum out of myself and the car,” said Haryanto. “I have to learn from that [mistake], and not repeat it again the next time. But I’m getting more confident with the team, and my relationship with the engineers is improving day by day.”
