STR confusion

There was confusion over whether Toro Rosso was running its new car in Barcelona or just a modified 2015 model. Driver Carlos Sainz Jr had said the car was “a mix of last year and some parts from this year”, but technical director James Key insisted the team was using a 2016specification car. “It’s definitely this year’s car,” he said. “There are two carryover bits there on a temporary basis because the new bits are coming for the next test. Those are the only bits of 2015 we have on the car.”
