Collard joins Carlin in BRDC F4, replacing Euroformula Open-bound Herta

MSA Formula title rivals Ricky Collard and Lando Norris will both race for Carlin in BRDC Formula 4 this year.

Collard will replace Colton Herta in the three-car squad, with the American instead competing for the team in the Euroformula Open series for F3 cars, as he is too young to contest the opening BRDC F4 round.

“This deal came together pretty quickly, and as a local lad with my local team it all fits together really well,” said Collard. “I think I’ve got the best opportunity I’ve ever had; it’s an important year this year. Finishing second in MSA Formula was great last year but obviously I want to go that one place further.”
