Bellerby to step up in Super National

-

Super National Rallycross will have a new champion in 2016 as title holder Dan Rooke has graduated to Supercar.

Paige Bellerby won the final 2015 round and will be a contender. Tony Lynch, who has won many titles, has bought the Ford Ka with which Gareth Wood won twice in 2015 and was second in the title race. Lynch will also be a hot tip for the two-wheeldrive glory.

Swift Sport champion Tristan Ovenden has moved to Super1600 so brother Simon will use the title-winning car to make his rallycross debut at Croft.

Aiden Hills and Jack Brown will be frontrunners in the Swift category, while 2015 Junior title rivals Drew Bellerby and Bradley Durdin both graduate to the senior Swifts.

RX150 champion Chrissy Palmer will defend his crown, while Hot Hatch champion Tomasz Wielgosz and BMW Mini title holder David Bell will both return. In Retro Rallycross, Jordan Bowes faces a race against time to get his freshly built VW Golf Mk1 ready.
