Bellerby to step up in Su­per Na­tional

Su­per Na­tional Ral­ly­cross will have a new cham­pion in 2016 as ti­tle holder Dan Rooke has grad­u­ated to Supercar.

Paige Bellerby won the fi­nal 2015 round and will be a con­tender. Tony Lynch, who has won many ti­tles, has bought the Ford Ka with which Gareth Wood won twice in 2015 and was se­cond in the ti­tle race. Lynch will also be a hot tip for the two-wheeldrive glory.

Swift Sport cham­pion Tris­tan Oven­den has moved to Su­per1600 so brother Si­mon will use the ti­tle-win­ning car to make his ral­ly­cross de­but at Croft.

Ai­den Hills and Jack Brown will be fron­trun­ners in the Swift cat­e­gory, while 2015 Ju­nior ti­tle ri­vals Drew Bellerby and Bradley Dur­din both grad­u­ate to the se­nior Swifts.

RX150 cham­pion Chrissy Palmer will de­fend his crown, while Hot Hatch cham­pion To­masz Wiel­gosz and BMW Mini ti­tle holder David Bell will both re­turn. In Retro Ral­ly­cross, Jor­dan Bowes faces a race against time to get his freshly built VW Golf Mk1 ready.
