Kiwi funding drivers, navigators and clubs

In addition to building a new New Zealand-specific rally car, Hayden Paddon is also putting money back into the community that helped get him to the top of the World Rally Championship.

The Paddon Foundation has been established with Hayden Paddon Rallysport Group (HPRG) funding and will offer grants to drivers, co-drivers and car clubs in New Zealand.

“I remember when I started out I applied to lots of different places for some funding, but rallying was always frowned upon,” Paddon told Motorsport News.

“The idea behind the Paddon Foundation is that we help put something back into the sport. I want to do anything I can to help others.”
