Ring heads WRC cars on Kerry seeding
In his first outing in the car, Alan Ring will head off a class field for the Kerry event in his Ford Fiesta R5+.
Ring heads the Fiesta and Subaru Impreza WRCS of capable campaigners of Declan Boyle and Peadar Hurson for the second round of the Triton Showers Irish National Rally Championship in what should be a 148-strong entry.
BRC trio Marty Mccormack (Skoda Fabia S2000), Desi Henry’s Fabia R5 and Robert Woodside (Fiesta R5) also appear on the entry for the event. Mccormack suffered a broken diff before the first round of the British Rally Championship.
Mike Quinn leads the Ford Escort modified chargers, while reigning Group N champion Aidan Wray heads the way in that class.
The event’s stages will run in the BallymacelligottKnocknagoshel-brosna region, with three runs of three stages in the offing.
