Ring heads WRC cars on Kerry seed­ing

In his first out­ing in the car, Alan Ring will head off a class field for the Kerry event in his Ford Fi­esta R5+.

Ring heads the Fi­esta and Subaru Im­preza WRCS of ca­pa­ble cam­paign­ers of De­clan Boyle and Peadar Hur­son for the sec­ond round of the Tri­ton Show­ers Ir­ish Na­tional Rally Cham­pi­onship in what should be a 148-strong en­try.

BRC trio Marty Mc­cor­mack (Skoda Fabia S2000), Desi Henry’s Fabia R5 and Robert Wood­side (Fi­esta R5) also ap­pear on the en­try for the event. Mc­cor­mack suf­fered a bro­ken diff be­fore the first round of the Bri­tish Rally Cham­pi­onship.

Mike Quinn leads the Ford Es­cort mod­i­fied charg­ers, while reign­ing Group N cham­pion Ai­dan Wray heads the way in that class.

The event’s stages will run in the Bal­ly­ma­cel­lig­ot­tKnock­nagoshel-brosna re­gion, with three runs of three stages in the off­ing.
