Woodhouse takes first victory in new Darrian with Inns

Chris Woodhouse and Rachel Inns took their first victory, having their first run in a Darrian T90 at Down Ampney.
Roger Duckworth/mark Broomfield’s Subaru Impreza led the first seven stages, pulling out a 30-second lead over Woodhouse.
Duckworth crashed out on stage eight, which left Woodhouse to take his maiden victory by two minutes from Peter Hedges/marcus Stickland’s Mitsubishi Lancer E6.
Andy Corner/ade Camp’s Peugeot 205 and Wayne/ William Lloyd’s Escort had both got ahead of Hedges early on, but Corner broke a throttle cable on stage eight and Lloyd retired a stage earlier.
Glyn Cartwright/adam Wilks’ Escort settled in third, only two seconds clear of Craig Teasdale/duncan Lilwall’s Impreza, while a strong finish from Josh Male/ Aubrey Bage’s Honda CRX gave them fifth, with John and Thomas Williams’ Ford Escort completing the top six.
