Pressdee holds off Belcher for Melbourne glory Lookout Stages

Terry Pressdee and Mark Broadbent came from behind to oust fellow Subaru Impreza crew Simon Belcher/peter Butler and clinch the victory spoils at Melbourne.

Belcher was six seconds quicker on stage one, but after Pressdee halved the gap on the second run, he led from stage three. David Longfellow/danny Ward’s Impreza had just consolidated third when they retired on stage four, which left Nick and Joe Cookclear to secure third overall and take Class C.

Phil and Mick Gallagher took fourth overall from stage four, taking Class D in the process, while Steve Adamson and navigator Marcus Blenkinsop claimed the final place in the top five.
