Team Parker to run second Bentley in British GT rounds
Team Parker Racing will expand to running two Bentley Continental GT3S in both the Silverstone and Spa rounds of British GT.
The team will run a second car for its Blancpain drivers Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod in the three-hour Silverstone 500 event, before Bentley factory driver Steven Kane joins the team and will partner Loggie for the two-hour race in Belgium.
The second car will join full-season entry Rick Parfitt Jr and Seb Morris on the grid.
Team head Stuart Parker said: “There’s a larger grid capacity for both Silverstone and Spa and it gives us the chance to give Ian some more mileage, and to work with a factory driver like Steven is great.
“We’re delighted with how the Bentley deal is working and the cars are proving they are quick and can do the job. We always wanted to run two cars in British GT, so this gives us the chance to do that and maybe we can expand to two full-season entries next season.”
