Jenson Button was not impressed to see a pit vehicle parked near the entrance of the pitlane during qualifying. In fairness, the truck was moved quite quickly, but it probably wasn’t the best idea the driver has ever had. Race director Charlie Whiting played it down: “The driver lacked experience and won’t do it again, but it must be emphasised this is not a normal run-off area and the risk was low. Unacceptable nonetheless.”
