New winners in F3 Cup’s Spa encounters

-

There were two new winners in the F3 Cup at Spa in Belgium last weekend.

Omicron Motorsport’s Jacopo Sebastiani took the lead from polesitter Robbie Watts on the opening lap of race one and held it to the premature end despite dogged pressure from Watts and the perils of a damp drying track.

Watts spun out of the lead in race two, leaving Stuart Wiltshire to take his maiden win. He brought his Chris Dittmann Racing Dallara F308-mercedes home ahead of James Heffernan.

Monoposto race wins were shared by Jason and Jeremy Timms. Jeremy retired from race one, leaving Jason to take the win, with Chris Hodgen and James Rimmer on the podium. Jeremy prevailed in race two.

Nicholas Olson (Lotus) won the opening CSCC Interseries Cup ahead of Matthew Wurr’s Morgan Plus 8. Wurr prevailed in race two. The Chevrolet of Raymond Barrow won both CSCC Swinging Sixties races.
