Karaskas gets back in harness

-

Seasoned single-seater racer Dave Karaskas has gone back 34 years to race in Formula Ford 2000 for the second time, now with a Crossle 51F in the URS Classic category.

Karaskas first raced in the class in 1982 when his rivals included Ayrton Senna. Since then he has raced in cars as diverse as an Historic F1 Arrows to an MG Midget.

“I wanted to get back to single-seaters,” said Karaskas, who has recently recovered from a snapped Achilles tendon. “This is the car that Arnie Black raced in the 1982 European Championship and more recently was raced by James Ledamun.”
