Moffatt makes his mark in Knutsford

Alastair Moffatt won the Knutsford and DMC round of the MSA and BTRDA Autotest Championships last weekend.

Moffatt, in the Mini Special led all day, followed by Malcolm Livingston (Lindsay Special) and Richard Pinkney (Caterham).

The dusting of gravel on the surface caught out many competitors, including Pinkney who had two penalties. Ian Chapman dropped two places when a driveshaft failed a couple of feet from the end of the penultimate test despite pushing the Riot over the line. Roger Holder took the saloon class by 0.2s.
