The National Hot Rod World Final is the ultimate battle. By Matt James and John Christie

This is the pivotal weekend for the National Hot Rod racers. The best of the best from home and abroad will gather at Foxhall Heath in Ipswich and will fight it out over 75 laps to claim the ultimate prize: the world title.

Drivers have battled since the middle of 2015 to earn enough points to qualify for the World Final, and it all boils down to the one-off showdown on Sunday afternoon.

There are three former winners in the field and a whole host of pretenders to the throne.

We asked 2013 World Final winner John Christie to pick out the best of the bunch. Here is his lowdown.
