NICO HULKENBERG
We were excited by the prospect of Hulkenberg making something of another fine qualifying effort in inclement weather, but things went wrong from the start. The #27 Force India got too much wheelspin and was fourth at the end of lap one. Hulkenberg continued to fall back, while team-mate Sergio Perez went the other way. Struggles with tyre wear didn’t help and brake issues eventually forced Hulkenberg out after a disappointing run.
