GP2 to keep car

The current Dallara GP2/11 car will continue to be used in the category next season, after plans to introduce a new model were pushed back. The decision has been made for cost reasons and the delay could also give time for a possible deal to be reached for the series to be rebranded F2. “We decided that because of the general economic situation, we are going for one more year to do the same thing,” said GP2 boss Bruno Michel.
