Dixon’s tumble

Dick Dixon was forced to miss the Historic Formula Ford 1600 Championship round at Brands Hatch after tripping over and sustaining a broken rib. The former London fireman was still present at Brands Hatch as one of the prime movers behind the championship. Two weeks earlier at Cadwell Park he took his Lotus 61 to his first ever podium finish in one of the heats.
