Scottish Formula Ford 1600 drivers Jamie Thorburn and Neil Maclennan were two of several drivers from Scotland to race in the FF1600 National series at Brands Hatch last weekend as they look to familiarise themselves with the circuit before the Formula Ford Festival in October. Scottish points leader Maclennan, earned a fourth and fifth over the weekend behind the wheel of his Dario Franchitti-backed Ray GR14, while Thorburn came home in 13th in race one and to seventh in race two.
