More than a century of battlers have tried to tame the mighty venue
It is well documented that Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motorsport venue in the world with a continuous history. It all started in 1905 when the Midland Automobile Club secured the use of the unsurfaced track to replace the public road events it had been running at Sun Rising Hill near Stratford-on-avon. The Sun Rising Hill heritage lives on today in the MAC’S club badge.
