BTCC man Belcher to race jet-ski for char­ity

Bri­tish Tour­ing Car Cham­pi­onship team prin­ci­pal Si­mon Belcher will re­turn to jet-ski rac­ing to raise money for char­ity.

Belcher, who raced with his Handy Motorsport squad in the BTCC for two years be­fore step­ping back to fo­cus on team man­age­ment, will com­pete in the Bri­tish cham­pi­onship fi­nals for the first time in 15 years to raise aware­ness of and funds for Can­cer Re­search UK.

A mul­ti­ple cham­pion with five jet-ski ti­tles to his name, Belcher will con­test six races over a two­day event at Don­caster Lake­side on Septem­ber 3/4 us­ing two fully re­stored jet-skis from the 1990s.
