He passed poleman John Filippi into the first corner and was untroubled thereafter with Rob Huff making it a British 1-2. Points leader Jose Maria Lopez was fifth despite starting at the back because of an engine change penalty. He then ended his five-race win drought in front of his home fans in race two... Denny Hamlin won the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen last weekend, his maiden road course triumph. Martin Truex Jr was set for second but was tipped into a spin at the final corner by Brad Keselowski, which promoted Joey Logano to runner-up… Mike Conway’s seat in the Venturi Formula E team has been taken by Maro Engel for next season.
