For­mer Hot Rod racer Tim Foxlow made his cir­cuit rac­ing de­but in the CNC Heads Sports Sa­loons last week­end fin­ish­ing fourth in class at Oul­ton Park. His Ford Es­cort Mk1 is newly built by leg­endary car builder Sonny Howard. “It’s a 2.5-litre Du­ratec Toovey en­gine,” he said. “Af­ter 40 years of Hot Rods on ovals I needed a change and it was fan­tas­tic,” he added af­ter com­mit­ting him­self to rest of the cham­pi­onship.
