Sepang fix
Malaysian GP bosses have assured the paddock that any track issues at Sepang have been fixed following issues during a Motogp session earlier this summer after major resurfacing works. The entire track was resurfaced between February and May, but a planned Michelin tyre test in July was thwarted when water began to seep back through the new surface, making the track wet in places. FIA race director Charlie Whiting has since visited the track. An FIA spokesperson said: “The track takes a little longer to dry out, but extra drainage slots have been cut so I don’t think we’ll have an issue.”
